Advanced Branding
Where to find: Click on your Name (top right) - Account Preferences - Company Branding
It is important that your referral program is in line with your company branding. In Firstbird, you can create different job headers for your jobs, and different share logos.
Administrators are able to create and edit brandings. As soon as a new branding has been successfully created, this branding is visible when you create a new job.
Edit your Default Branding
Where to find: Click on your Name (top right) - Account Preferences - Company Branding - Job Advert
In each Firstbird Account, the default branding can be edited. Log in to your Firstbird Account, click on your name top right, and a drop down menu will appear. Go to “Account Preferences” next to “Branding”, and at “Job advert” you will see the default branding.
To edit this, please click the function “Edit”. The name “Default Branding” cannot be changed and you will not be able to delete this branding.
Share Logo and Company Description
To personalize your job share, please upload a logo and enter a short company description (max. 155 characters) here. As soon as a Talent Scouts shares a job in one of his/her social media accounts, both will be visible. Read more if you need any assistance in uploading your logo.

Job Advert
Visible with each job are the company name, the address of the company’s homepage, and the job header. You can upload the job header here and confirm your upload by clicking “Crop Image”.
When you have finished your changes, click the button “Save Changes” .

Create a new additional Branding
To create an additional branding, log in to your Firstbird Account, click on your name top right, and a drop down menu will appear. Go to “Account Preferences”, next to “Branding”, and click the button “+ New branding”.
A new window will pop up, where you can enter the name for your new branding. This name of your branding will be visible in a drop down menu when you create a new job. Confirm the name by clicking the button “Add”.

Delete Branding
Where to find: Click on your Name (top right) - Account Preferences - Company Branding - Job Advert - Delete
As soon as you delete one of your created brandings which is in use at an active job, it will be automatically replaced by the default branding.
To delete a branding, go to your “Account Preferences” - “Company Branding” and click on the function “Delete” next to the branding you would like to delete. A new window will pop up. Please confirm the final deletion by clicking the button “Delete”.
The default branding can´t be deleted.
Select Branding for Jobs
In the edit mode for a new job, you can choose at “Branding”, by means of a drop down menu, the branding which has been created by an Administrator. Read more to learn how to create a new job in Firstbird.
The feature “Branding” will not be visible if no additional branding has been created by an Administrator, and the default branding will be used automatically.
If no further Brandings have been created by you or another Administrator, the “Branding” field will not be visible at the job creation, since the Standard Branding will automatically be selected.
Where to find: Click on your Name (top right) - Account Preferences - Company Branding
In the case that you have problems in uploading your company logo, try out the following:
- Open the logo in an image editing program (e.g. IrfanView).
- Choose the function "Canvas size" (the name for the function in IrfanView). The name of the function will depend on the type of image editing program you are using.
- Change the canvas dimension in pixels. The result should be a square version of your company logo (min. 200 x 200 pixel).
- Choose the canvas color (mostly white).
- Save your changes.
After completing these steps, you should have no problem in uploading your company logo.

Customizable Registration Page
Where to find: Click on your Name (top right) - Account Preferences - Company Branding - Registration Page
Create your registration page for your Talent Scouts and customize it according to your company guidelines and corporate identity.
Once the registration link has been activated and a Talent Scout clicks on it, they will automatically be forwarded to your registration page to create a new account. To set up your registration page, go to your “Account Preferences”, “Branding” and then to “Registration Page”.
The following elements can be changed or uploaded according your company designs:
- Company logo
- Background image
- Headline
- Welcome text
Color Theme
Where to find: Click on your Name (top right) - Account Preferences - Company Branding - Color Theme
As an Administrator, you can easily personalize your Firstbird company account by using the “Color Theme” feature. Choose one of our predefined color themes or select “Custom Theme” and enter the color codes of your company.
The following elements of your platform will be changed:
- Sidebar Background
- Sidebar Text Color
- Button / Active Item (in emails as well)
- Button Text (in emails as well)

Please be aware that all users will also see your selected color theme.

When you choose a color theme, a preview of what your company platform will be provided. After clicking on the button “Save Changes”, the new color theme will be applied and visible for all other users as well.
Create Your Custom Theme
The following elements of your Firstbird platform can be changed by entering the “Hex Color Codes” of your company colors:
- Sidebar Background
- Sidebar Text Color
- Button / Active Item (in emails as well)
- Button Text (in emails as well)
Enter your “Hex Color Codes” into the four fields and confirm your changes by clicking on the button “Save Changes”.
